Lara El Khouri
Lara El Khouri is the 13-year-old founder of the Lara Reads Book Club, a space created by a young reader for young readers. A high academic achiever with a natural curiosity and drive to learn, Lara balances excellence in school with an energetic love for sports. Whether she’s playing netball, football, or performing with her cheerleading team, she approaches every challenge with focus, teamwork, and determination. Her passion for the arts shines just as brightly—through drama and dance, Lara expresses creativity, confidence, and storytelling in motion.
But it’s through books that Lara truly finds her world. Reading is her favorite pastime and her quiet superpower—a place where she immerses herself completely, explores new perspectives, and connects deeply with characters and ideas. Lara Reads Book Club was born from this love of stories and her desire to share that magic with others. Through the club, Lara invites fellow readers to discover unforgettable books, exchange ideas, and build a community where imagination, friendship, and a love of reading come together.
